Youtube is the biggest and number one free video sharing website hosted by Google. More than 1 billion unique users visit YouTube each month and 100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute according toYoutube statistics. If you are already youtube user and wish to create caption/subtitle to your Youtube videos, Captiontube can help you to do it directly from your web browser without needing any program installed to your pc.
Instruction:
+ Goto: http://captiontube.appspot.com/
+ Sign in with your Google Account
+ Click Allow
+ Now you have two options to work with. If you want to subtitle your Youtube video click Personal Video... and if you want to create subtitle from someone else Youtube's video click Specific Video... and then enter the vidoe url (read below picture description for details). For my option I clicked on Persional Video.
+ Now I can see the list of my Youtube videos and I can see that each of my video which one has subtitle or not. Choose a video and then click Import
+ Now here's the list of your imported videos. Click on Edit button on the right of the video you want to create subtitle.
+ Click On The Plus Sigh (+) and name the track , choose track language => Save
+ Play the video and Pause on a position where the caption is going to start and click Add Caption.
+ Now continue playing the video and pause again where you think caption should end a line and then Click on the red highlight as seen on image below. Now Click Save Caption
+ If you know that the next caption line going to start immediately without delay. Click Add Caption for another caption line and do the same as previous steps until you complete the whole video.
+ Now When You Done Click On Publish..
Publish To Youtube
Click OK
Now You Will Be Redirected to Youtube video editor of your current work video and you see that CC is now Available.
